The Essex County School Board

The Essex County School Board and the Essex County Board of Supervisors are committed to supporting high‑quality educational services for all children in Essex County. School Board members are elected to four‑year terms.

Regular School Board meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m., with work sessions scheduled for the fourth Monday at 7 p.m. Meetings take place at the School Board Office, 109 N. Cross Street, Tappahannock, and are open to the public.
